PTA Mission: The overall purpose of PTA

“To make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.”

What Membership is:

• Sign of support for the students and staff at Terrace Heights Elementary.
• Our legislative voice!
• Helps to provide funds for both inside and outside the classroom.

What Membership is NOT:

• Volunteerism - We love our volunteers and always need them, but members are not required or pressured to        volunteer.
• PTA Meetings—PTA meetings are great and you learn tons of valuable information about the school and its programs, but you are NOT required to attend.  There are only (2) general meetings per year.

Membership renewals are completed on an annual basis.

What does the

Terrace Heights Elementary PTA

provide our students? 

 Everyone knows that schools are facing additional budget cuts each year.  Budget cuts force schools to focus on learning essentials and lessens their ability to provide enhancement programs and experiences for our students.  That’s where our PTA comes in!  Some of the programs and activities we have sponsored in the past and present include:

• Monster Bash
• Capital Theatre
• Book Fairs
• Family Fitness Nights
• Go Green Night
• Math and Science Night
• Accelerated Reading Program
• Book-it
• Monthly birthday celebrations
• Gymnastics Plus
• Skateland
• Kids Castle
• Anti-bullying assembly
